
Muscat, Oman - In a remarkable achievement, Oman Air has been ranked as the second most punctual airline in the world for the month of December 2024, according to the latest report by the global aviation analytics firm, OAG.
The national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman achieved an impressive on-time performance (OTP) of 91.23% during the month, trailing only Japan's All Nippon Airways which topped the list with 92.31% OTP.

The report, which analyzed the on-time performance of over 250 airlines worldwide, highlighted Oman Air's consistent reliability and punctuality, with the carrier maintaining its position among the top three most punctual airlines globally for the third consecutive month.

The news has been warmly received by the Omani government and the country's tourism sector, who see Oman Air's international recognition as a significant boost to the nation's efforts to promote its tourism and aviation industries on the global stage.
