flynas, recognized as the leading low-cost airline globally and the top LCC in the Middle East, has announced the resumption of direct flights between Jeddah and Kuwait starting November 1st. This move aligns with flynas’ ambitious growth strategy and supports national goals in aviation and tourism development.
Beginning November, flynas will operate three weekly flights connecting Kuwait International Airport with King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. This new route raises flynas’ weekly flights between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to ten, complementing its daily Riyadh-Kuwait service. These expanded operations are part of flynas’ comprehensive growth plan, “We Connect the World to the Kingdom,” and align closely with Saudi Arabia’s National Civil Aviation Strategy, which aims to link the Kingdom to 250 international destinations, accommodate 330 million passengers annually, and welcome 150 million tourists by 2030.
The resumption of flights is anticipated to invigorate business and leisure travel between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, supporting the shared economic and cultural ties of the two nations. It also contributes to the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP), enhancing access to the Two Holy Mosques as part of broader Vision 2030 objectives.
Since its launch in 2007, flynas has established itself as a key player in the aviation sector, operating 139 routes to over 70 destinations across 30 countries and managing more than 2,000 weekly flights. The airline has transported more than 80 million passengers and aims to expand its reach to 165 domestic and international destinations as part of its ongoing growth aligned with Vision 2030.
Passengers can conveniently book flights through multiple flynas channels, including the official website, mobile app, call center, and authorized travel agents. This strategic route expansion underscores flynas’ commitment to connecting the Kingdom and enhancing travel experiences for passengers across the region.
