Japan Airlines (JAL) has officially announced its international cargo schedule for the summer of fiscal year 2025, introducing several key enhancements aimed at expanding its logistics capabilities.
Notably, JAL will launch a new cargo service to Hanoi starting March 30, 2025, a strategic move to tap into the city's growing high-tech industries. This marks the airline's first regular freighter service to Southeast Asia since resuming operations.
In addition to the new Hanoi route, JAL is increasing flight frequencies to major markets: flights to Hong Kong will rise to six times a week, while services to Shanghai will increase to three times weekly.
The airline also plans to establish a new round-trip cargo route between Narita and Taipei (Taoyuan), featuring five flights per week.
Effective from March 30 to October 25, 2025, this summer schedule reflects JAL’s commitment to accommodating diverse logistics needs, including the transportation of pharmaceuticals, fresh produce, and chemicals.
By enhancing its freighter network and integrating passenger flight capacities, JAL aims to create a flexible and reliable air transport infrastructure that supports business growth and sustainability, thereby reinforcing its competitive position in the air cargo sector.
